We're looking for a driven Sales Intern to help grow LEZA's merchant and partner network across Zimbabwe. You'll work closely with our growth team to identify, pitch, and onboard new restaurant and retail partners — while also contributing to marketing campaigns and light design work that keeps LEZA's brand sharp and consistent.

Responsibilities

Prospect and reach out to potential restaurant and retail partners in target areas
Conduct on-site and virtual pitches to introduce LEZA's value proposition
Support the onboarding of new merchants onto the platform
Maintain and update the sales pipeline and partner contact records
Gather feedback from prospective partners and relay insights to the product team
Assist with market research to identify new growth opportunities and competitor activity
Represent LEZA professionally at local business and networking events
Support the creation of marketing materials including social media posts, flyers, and promotional content
Assist in planning and executing minor marketing campaigns across digital and physical channels
Use AI tools to accelerate content creation, copywriting, and basic design tasks

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role
A formal degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you're comfortable walking into a room and making a pitch
Self-motivated and target-driven with a demonstrable track record of hitting goals
Solid understanding of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar) and how to apply them productively
Basic design sensibility and comfort using tools like Canva or Adobe Express for marketing collateral
Familiarity with the local Harare business landscape is a strong plus
Basic proficiency with Google Workspace or similar productivity tools
A genuine interest in tech, startups, and how delivery platforms work
